The Doctor's Inn Bed & Breakfast

Inside Bedroom of The Doctor's Inn of Berea

The Doctor's Inn of Berea extends to you an experience of Kentucky hospitality at its most gracious. Dr. Bill and Biji Baker offer their home as the premier bed and breakfast in Berea, elegant lodging with a warm welcome. The Greek Revival house with a breathtaking view of the landscape and gardens invites you to an intimate retreat. Guest rooms are furnished with antique furniture designed and crafted at Berea College, oriental carpets, and the deep jewel tone colors of the walls enhance stained glass windows. Each room has a private bath.

Dr. John Baker and Mattye Belle Kincaid built this home in the 1940's after 34 years as a practicing Orthodontist in Owensboro, Kentucky. Their son Bill, and his wife Biji, returned to fulfill their dreams of providing comfortable luxury lodging in Dr. Baker's hometown, Berea, the arts and crafts capital of Kentucky. The "Hound of the Inn", a chocolate Labrador named "Whitman" greets you barking with excitement at the front door.
