Triple Tree Log Home and Studio

The Collection Of Tripple Tree Log Studio

I have been an artist all my life. However, I did not know this until I turned 30. It was then that I owned the courage and awareness to explore this talent with clay, fabric, and now anodized aluminum jewelry. For most of my artistic life I have lived in a beautiful state that supports its artists like no other. Kentucky has helped me to blossom. I am grateful.

Two jewelry themes reflect my interests: my Earth Glyphs celebrate nature as I dye simple pictures of landscapes and flowers; and my Age Glyphs celebrate women as I dye patterns and motifs from cultures where men and women were equal or today share a partnership way of living.

I do this work in an unusual medium: anodized aluminum. I learned about the process from my friend, Cindy Lowy. This electro-chemical process allows me to permanently dye the metal with any color I choose. I have developed many techniques and it is a joy to see the colors mix and react with each other as I experiment with them.

To share my research and writings with you I have written a self-published booklet, "Women the Gift Givers," available at my shows.
