The Finest in Regional Hospitality
Built in 1909 to accommodate visitors to Berea College, Boone
Tavern Hotel is still partially staffed by students as part of
Berea College's student labor program. One restaurant critic writes
of her experience at Boone Tavern Hotel, "It is nearly as relaxing
to wait in its lobby as to dine in its restaurant." Boone Tavern
is one of only two hostelries in Kentucky belonging to the National
Trust for Historic Preservation's Historic Hotels of America organization.
